ARE YOU STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS EVEN WITH COVID RESTRICTIONS?
A new safe social/physical distancing service offering has been added to the menu.
RoL is taking reservations for future dates for all other service offerings. Should you book now for a future date, you'll receive a 10% discount and know that you're supporting your local business.
DO YOU HAVE A SAFE QUARANTINE OR SOCIAL/PHYSICAL DISTANCING OPTION?
Check out the "RoL From Home" (RFH) service offering. You still get a personalized hands-on experience with live feedback using an online platform. All the specialty cookware, materials and ingredients are delivered to your door via porch pickup. We meet online and I walk you through setup as well as lessons, as if I was there! This is a live feedback service offering, you can see me and I can see you. And, cleanup is still included. Pack everything back into the tote provided and we do the cleanup, disinfecting and sterilization of all tools.
DO YOU STILL DO THE SHOPPING FOR ME?
RoL will do a porch drop off of all needed ingredients and materials. We won't ever come into physical contact. You don't even need to leave your house...except to open door and pickup the tote after delivery.
WHAT IF THE SOCIAL/PHYSICAL DISTANCING RECOMMENDATIONS ARE STILL IN AFFECT FOR THE DATE OF MY BOOKING?
The RoL from Home service offering is not affected and is specifically customized for social/physical distancing.
For all other service offerings, RoL is flexible and can accommodate a change of date if needed. We will review the recommendations by Public Health and work with you to determine the best course of action. RoL is flexible and can accommodate a re-booking to a future date if needed. All future bookings receive a 10% discount.
DO YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
Your rolls are prepared by you under the supervision of an instructor. You control the ingredients that are going into your food. For severe allergies, please let us know at the time of your booking so we can discuss safe food handling options.
If you choose an add-on lunch or dinner option, some of the food may be prepared ahead of time. We can work with you to determine whether this option is appropriate for your dietary needs.
YOUR SERVICE SAYS YOU CLEANUP?
Offerings that include an on-site instructor: RoL needs access at least 1 hour beforehand to setup and 1/2 hour afterwards to take down.
RoL from Home service: Your materials are dropped off at your door in a tote. At your scheduled time, we connect and get rolling. When done, you pack everything into the tote (no need to wash) and put the tote back out for pickup. We clean and disinfect all materials for you.
HOW MUCH FOOD IS INCLUDED?
For on-site event experiences: There will be enough food provided for the duration of your booking. Two event-goers can roll their own sushi at the same time. It typically takes 5 minutes per person to roll with cleanup and reset of each rolling station between event-goers.
All other service offerings: EACH guest will be able to roll a minimum of 3 rolls. That's 24 pieces per person!
For meal add-ons, each person will enjoy a full serving of the specified appetizer/desert etc.
DOES ROL PRACTICE SAFE FOOD HANDLING?
Rebecca Louise completed the City of Hamilton Health Services Food Handler Certification and received a mark of 100%!
